KC’s Parsnips are launched in North Island Foodstuffs stores
On Friday 8th August 2008, a trial of our ideal line of parsnips branded with the KC’s Parsnips name, were made available to our Foodstuffs customers.
Our 3 count prepack bags are clear, so consumers see exactly what they are choosing to purchase. KC’s Parsnips are packed on the day they are picked, travel to our customers and arrive in stores the next day. A packing date on the closure tag helps produce managers in store with rotation and consumers are confident when they choose KC’s Parsnips they are making an informed choice about freshness and quality.
KC’s Parsnips will be offered to all other customers and markets in September.
Stores wishing to stock KC’s Parsnips can contact Craig Mott
on 021 716 261
We are aware of the quality of our ideal line and were looking for a way to ensure consumers are able to choose our product in store.
With the addition of the website address and recipe ideas on the bag we are able to encourage and support our parsnip consumers to try new ways of preparing and eating our parsnips

May 2010 135 tones of swede supplied to McCain’s by Mott’s Premium Produce

In April 2010 Mott’s Premium Produce’s marketing manager procured a contract with McCain’s Foods to supply 135 tons of swede. It was a case of ‘all hands on deck’ to complete the order by the date required with friends & family chipping in to help! The ‘swede mountain’ in the pic probably makes up approximately half of the 135 tons.
